Freedom. A word that dominates our Bible, but do we understand what it means for us in relation to our life in Christ? We have been freed from many things because of what Jesus did. This freedom in Him is permanent, eternal. You weren't released from prison to be out on parole. We are free indeed. But it isn't only about what we've been freed from but what we've also been freed into.

345. Is God Offended by Sin?
Now that we have received the gift of righteousness, does sin get in the way of your relationship with God? Will it affect His acceptance of you or how He thinks of you? The Bible states that Jesus came to take away sin and destroy the works of the devil. So did Jesus accomplish His mission or is this an ongoing work that is not yet completed?
