A question many have asked for centuries. Church denominations and various religions around the world have sometimes complicated a very simple answer to the question, "What must I do to be saved?"

Of course the answer is simply to "believe on the Lord Jesus."

What does it mean to believe? How do I know I really believe? Have you ever wondered if you have enough faith to believe? The good news is belief is a gift that God has been made available to everyone. Belief is not something you "try" hard to do.

This week we focus on belief and faith and how anyone can trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ.

Here's this week's GIG-Bite, a quick sample of this week's program.

Hi Guys. How would you answer if I asked the question "What must I do to be redeemed?". Or " what must I do to be justified?". Or "What must I do to be reconciled?". Or even "What must I do to be born again?" Any changes to the answer? Thanks for your pursuit of grace and truth!

  2. On righteousness, redemption, justification, reconciliation, being born again; new creations:

    Rom 3:21-26
21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

    2 Cor 5:17-20
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.

    1 Peter 1:22-23
22 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit* in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, 23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever.
